Volume 2?

The past week has been a time of reflection and revelation. In my personal journal today, I wrote: "I know what I've realized in the past day or two." and then continued:

I came to recognize that volume two of my life may not be so different and
segmented from volume one as I had thought. Perhaps, the volumes of my
life, or at least these two, are more like the "Back to the Future" movie
trilogy. Similar characters with similar personalities and similar
themes, but different time periods.

Thus, I remain me, fully intact, but better acquainted with myself and confirmed with my call to reach the lost, the broken, the hurting, and the spiritually hungry and to be a disciple model for the church to follow.

They touched Jesus, but then, how did they pray?

I'm sitting in my room praying and thinking, "After the resurrection did the disciples pray to Jesus?" Just imagine this with me for a moment. You have spent the past 2 - 3 years of your life following this intriguing man around, your feet are calloused, your memory is overflowing with moments around the campfire or dinner table, and you've been challenged to completely shift your Jewish worldview. Question: Multi-generational ministry

What do you think is good about churches that focus on reaching a specific age group? What do you think some of the disadvantages are? Would you rather be part of a multi-generational interactive community or a community of peers? (Assuming both are in the context of Christian fellowship.)
