Is this what seminary is for?

I am tired of writing "my" spiritual story and I want to start talking and learning about God's story!

Hey I hope your new seminary life is enjoyable and filled with new challenges and opportunities to grow. I hope CPE is encouraging and full of learning experiences, and I hope you don't forget just how much your spiritual story is a part of God's story.

hehehe, i think i read these comments backwards and the previous post makes a lot more sense with this one as a precursor =)

I agree with Michael... it's hard to see your story as a part of God's story... but it is! it's a very important part of it. And all the pieces of your story have led you to this very unique moment. They have been a part of your call and the process of your growth and include all of the things that you will draw on in your ministry - all of the things that make your calling to be a servant of God uniquely yours.

Why Department Stores are Failing

Dear Department Store Management, If you want to survive in the online consumerism culture, you need to change your hours.  You have to understand how your client has changed and change with them.  Your target audience is the shopper who needs instant gratification.  The shopper who needs the item "this hour," not "twelve hours from now."  Which means, you need to change your hours. Personally, I shop before work and after work.  Guess who is not open?  The department store.  Gone is the day of casual wandering of stores... at least during the work week. Late to Bethlehem

"She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn." (Luke 2:7) Is there more to this story? Why wasn't there any room for them in the inn? Did they arrive late to Bethlehem or not arrive early enough to find a place to stay? And if they arrived late, or not early enough, why? Did Joseph not plan ahead? Did he not consider the fact that his ancestral home would be overflowing with people looking for a place to lay their head? Or did they leave early, but Mary's morning sickness delayed their travels and made the trip take much longer than expected? Did they meet unexpected delays in their journey? Were these delays both the devil's attempts to stop them from arriving in Bethlehem and God's perfect plan for having His son born in a manger?
